- Bio Temp MiniChips are tiny passive radio-frequency identification devices (RFID). This microchip is compliant with ISO standards, certified by the International Committee for Animal Recording AND contains an integrated temperature sensor.

- Veterinarians have been using single rectal thermometry as the gold standard. However, rectal temperature, if taken frequently enough is very variable. Just as in human health, a pet’s ‘normal’ temperature is a range, may vary.
